THE "TEMPLE NEUF"
Set like a jewel in the heart of the Petit-Saulcy island, Metz's Temple Neuf rises majestically between sky and water, surrounded by the reflections of the Moselle River. Built in the early 20th century in a striking neo-Romanesque style, it offers a silhouette that is both powerful and magical, almost as if it came out of a fairy tale. At dusk, it becomes a cathedral of light, magnified by the halos dancing on the river...
While its exterior is fascinating, the interior of the Temple, relatively unknown to the general public, is a true showcase of beauty: imposing vaults, pale stones, and subtle stained glass windows create an atmosphere that is as solemn as it is enchanting. An iconic, poetic, and spectacular place, perfect for inspiring the imagination.
